Paul Chain & Lee Dorrian Lake Without Water. Day Studios, Pesaro Italy 1995.
Recently found footage from my camcorder tapes, found during my first stay at Paolo Catena's apartment & studio in Pesaro, back in early 1995. The mummified cat in the guitar case (with clock set to the 13th hour) was/is called Mephisto.
Lake Without Water is taken from the album Alkahest, originally released by Italian label, Godhead.

Napalm Death appearing on a 'Musical Education Programme' for children on BBC TV back in 1989! Part 2 is even crazier. The show also featured Cliff Richard and Patrick Moore from The Sky At Night!?

Pt. 2 - Don't blink ND are at the end of the clip!
This would be unthinkable with the current Auntie Beeb who's way too woke and snowflaky for this stuff.
Magical times.
Amazing
The original and best lineup
⚰️
I seen them live with this line-up and it was amazing.
вот это настоящий NAPALM
Thank god Lee did Cathedral, so much cooler than Napalm Death.
Bill steer now the front man of carcass...lee Dorian . front man of cathedral.

YOU SUFFER …BUT WHY?
Napalm Death = Insanity
“That’s the point of the lyric sheet” 😂 fantastic television. Awesome effort from host and band
Urywa jajca do dziś
Con miami sound machine
Musical program for children on screen, You suffer but why lol
I remember watching this on TV, and it was a cool and strange moment. I also remember meeting Bill and Lee briefly in Cardiff before a gig they were playing. I asked some people who looked like metalheads if they were going to the gig and it ended up being the band themselves haha. All I had was a copy of Scum on cassette that somebody at school had recorded for me, and I hadn't yet seen how they looked yet. Really nice bunch of down to earth people, and the gig was good (apart from the lighting rig randomly falling down during the set).
Buncha commies. Love their music, but hate them as people. 😎
Infelizmente essa linuep só durou dois anos, gosto muito dessa fase do ND.
Amazing footage I also want this song to be played at my funeral
Craig & N.D could form a supergroup: Napalm Dwarf.
Beautiful.
Love Barney on Volbeats Evelyn.
I thought Jim Carrey pulled the band name and the vocals out of his ass just for the skit but nope...real thing! xD
I remember watching this at the time ..loving every minute of it ..
Intro is way too long lol
Billギャル…ハグしてもらえよ…。
The irony is, it is not rare footage anymore. Great to see anyways, of course.
Such a load of pure sh!te??!!...
This is a Gem,.... Thanks for posting! Awesome band, however these guys are now probably Civil Servants or Social Workers,... Respect never the less! Apparently Ed Sheeran is going to do a cover of this! Can't wait!......
Mate I dont know whether your being serious or not with this comment but Shane the bass the player is still in Napalm Death today (and has an autobiography coming out) and all four of these guys have gone on to be extreme music legends in the various projects they have been involved with.
I remember this all right!
Easily the best ND lineup. The best frontman they ever had too
not fair, barney is a legend
@@matthiaskruger556 he may be, but Lee blows him away
I was in that apartment in the '90 too! Amazing place
Back when the BBC was still great and not a For Profit Conglomerate.
Ommmmmmmmmmm
Carcass and napalm death the beginning of everything about grindcore
Hahaha, what an absolute disaster, it's fantastic!
Su necrosis sg
these days I can't stop laughing when I see old Napalm Death footage and then I think of Jim Carrey's impression of them
Step aside Kylie Minogue
You suffer
But why ?
Thats a Confessor t-shirt? From already giving clues Lee of the future Cathedral, fck yeah. In Grind we trust & Stay Doom!
Kudos to the BBC for bringing on a band so extreme that Slayer couldn't hold a birthday candle to them
Slayer are a way better band and at least you can hear tom araya singer the words. All you heard from napalm death was dooh dooh booh gooh booh booh gooh gooh gooh.
I fucking love Napalm Death.
fuckin iconic
what is the song that they performed at the end?
From Enslavement to Obliteration
This lineup only lasted 2 years and is still the best grindcore lineup of all time. Grindcore goat!!!
I think that lee dorian has better vocals then barney
@@elzbietasomska7256 barney for the death metal napalm, cant stand when he sings grindcore era napalm death
That's what you think.
Yeh Mate, the filthiest!!! Saw Carcass Years after with Bill Steer, but miss Mike and Lee!!!
The cat is death
If you listen closely you can hear Napalm Death’s song “Evolved As One” playing in the background.
I love napalm death, always have. It was sick they got that coverage, but the audio was painful. Shame they didn't have a sound guy at not even a mixing board, just mic placement and volume control and awareness, could have sounded so much better. Still napalms the shit🤘In grind we crust!
